From Bud to Bloom: Bespoke Wedding Flower Design
The floral design for your wedding will be inspired, first and foremost, by the two of you. This isn’t a question of me trying to impose a set style on you and the spaces you’ve chosen to transform, instead, we’ll work together to create an impressive, enchanting selection of floral displays that suit the celebration you’re dreaming of.
Because my work tends to be led by movement and texture, rather than by a particular style or type of arrangement, it means my flowers and I can be very versatile, and I can turn my secateurs to everything from opulent country houses to quirky industrial spaces, and from boho teepees to rustic barns. I’ll help you to coax the buds of your ideas into flourishing floral arrangements that look incredible and make you and your guests grin from ear to ear.
The Wedding Flower Design Process

Step 1: Say hello!
Get in touch via the enquiry form on my contact page, and send me as much information about your wedding plans as you can.

Step 2: Discovery Call
I’ll send you an initial questionnaire to fill in, where you can tell me all about your beautiful wedding. Then we’ll have an initial discovery call to get to know each other. You can ask me any questions you may have, we’ll chat about your ideas, first thoughts on colour and texture, and can start building ideas together. After the call I’ll send you a one-page moodboard recapping what we discussed, along with an approximate quote based on these initial chats.

Step 3: Design Consultation Time
If you’d like to go ahead and book me as your wedding florist (yay), then a deposit of £200 is now payable. This then gives you access to my intensive design consultation. Hugely detailed and always lots of fun, we’ll spend around 90 minutes together chatting all things flowers, and finessing the ideas we bounced around in the discovery call. Inspiration can spark in the most surprising of places, so don’t worry about going off on tangents – I want to hear absolutely everything!

Step 4: Your bespoke design proposal
I’ll put together a detailed proposal for your flowers, using lots of sketches, images, information about the focal flower choices, an easy-to-follow pricing breakdown and info on our next steps and payment plans.

Step 5: A venue visit
Either with you, or independently (depending on your schedules), I’ll arrange a site visit to get a real feel for the spaces available to flower. It’s always helpful to walk through a space, to find the hidden-gem locations within a venue and work out any logistical challenges with installations.

Step 6: Refining and tweaking
With about six weeks to go until your wedding day, we’ll have another meeting in person or on Zoom to finalise the plans and make any necessary refinements.

Step 7: The big day!
It’s finally here! My team and I will liaise with your venue to arrange access and set up all your flowers, exactly as planned. I’ll hand deliver your bouquet (and give you an excited hug), and will return the next day to clear down everything and leave the venue looking pristine.
