JESS & LUKE

This was a brief that was the best kind of challenge. Jess is a graphic designer by trade, and also someone with frankly fabulous taste. She had a really clear vision for the way she wanted her wedding to look, and it was a total pleasure to get creative with flowers and make it a reality for her. Glamorous texture was the name of the game, and Jess knew that she didn’t want any green foliage in her arrangements and bouquets.

I worked with a mixture of fresh and dried flowers in a very muted and restricted colour palette of creams, whites and subtle toffee tones. Using the feathery fronds of pampas grass combined with lush roses, sprays of gypsophila and spray painted ferns, the finished look was modern, sophisticated, highly textural and simply stunning. In Jess’s bridal bouquet, I added orchids for extra richness, glamour and opulence.

Bespoke floral design for wedding.

This b-e-a-utiful wedding is a great example of how a limited tonal palette can work wonders and make a very strong, contemporary impact. Congratulations, Jess and Luke, your wedding was a dream!

from the wedding planner, Lianne of Blonde Army:

It's always a pleasure working with Nicola & her team. I have full faith she will deliver the client's brief and the pampas cloud & bouquet she created for our Bride was stunning. Her florals are always creative, she's incredibly warm & nothing is too much. I highly recommend Nicola & Dittany Entwined.
