ELLIE &
ALEX

If ever you’ve wondered about going all in on a single colour for your wedding flowers, let this stunning celebration be a sign for you! As graphic designers, Ellie and Alex had a really clear and striking vision for their floral décor – we were going full throttle with abundant arrangements all in white.

Ellie and Alex chose to keep things close to home, getting ready at their beautiful Georgian home and having their ceremony in the local church. I created asymmetrical pillars at the entrance of the church, and then things got more immersive and statuesque when the couple and their guests stepped inside. A wild aisle meadow of white roses, VARIETALS and VARIETALS guided Ellie towards the altar, where contemporary white plinths of different heights showcased frothy, modern installations, with gorgeous white hydrangeas taking the starring role.

This stripped back palette meant that shape and height were all the more important, I wanted to make sure that the textures of the flowers I used stood out to draw the eye and keep things feeling fresh and modern.

For the reception, I decorated the Boiler Bar with clusters of focal installations, along the walls, surrounding the cake, in the entranceway. I love to use flowers as surprising pops of drama and sculpture, and the all-white palette made this even more striking. This wedding was seriously stylish and huge fun to flower. Thanks for having me on your team, Alex and Ellie.
