“I knew I wanted something show stopping in the entrance area, so Nicola created the most giant and stunning winter wreath I have ever seen. The bride tried to gift it to me afterwards but sadly for me, it was bigger than most of my house! When you’re dealing with something like that, it's going to make people stop and take a minute to appreciate the setting and it really did.

The next big installation piece was the arch at the alter end of the ceremony. We had originally discussed making a Narnia-esque entrance for the bride to walk through Christmas trees but due to the couple’s guest numbers, there wasn’t enough space in the room so we had to adapt and think on our feet - something Nicola is fantastic at doing. The trees went into decorating the reception room beautifully and the arch became a talking piece of its own. It was bountiful, magical and full of stunning candle lit touches to add such beauty to a dark day.

I absolutely adore working with couples who put their trust in planners and florists and this wedding definitely gave both Nicola and I that opportunity which has meant we’ve teamed up well and we have another very exciting project to work on in 2023. …. watch this space!'”
