FELICITY
& LEE

Sometimes, a wedding theme doesn’t need to be anything more than ‘all the things we love’. And for Felicity and Lee, the result was a venue where joy was bursting out of every nook and cranny! This couple were just so lovely – warm, friendly and really keen to make sure each one of their guests had the best time on their wedding day. We worked together to transform their village hall venue into something that felt fun and elegant in equal measure. I loved the addition of the comfy velvet sofas outside.

When it came to the flowers, I planned one big ‘wow’ arrangement in the venue, to help take it from ‘sports hall’ to ‘whimsical wonderland’. This cascading hanging foliage installation running the length of the hall was interwoven with lights, and added a real touch of magic. Felicity gave me loads of information to work with about what she liked and what she didn’t, which meant I could really hone and tweak the designs to make them perfect.

Summer bridal bouquet design in peach, pink and lilac.

We went with shades of peach, pink and lilac for the bouquets and smaller table centres – pastels with a pop of playfulness. The roses smelled absolutely stunning for this summer wedding.

from the Bride & Groom:

We contacted a few florists and nobody gave us the level of detail as Nicola did. We loved the proposal document we received, it helped us understand exactly what we were paying for and gave a clear vision for the flowers on the day. Which reassured us that we were getting exactly what we wanted. The attention to detail, it made the whole experience feel personal. Especially the updates and the regular communication. I felt so at ease and trusted the process 100%. I didn't worry about the flowers at all.
